The Vegan Cuts July Beauty Box

August 15, 2014 By Dianne

The arrival of my Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is always a treat. I always open the package with eager anticipation, as if it were a birthday gift. The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a subscription beauty box service. Each box is full of 4 to 7 cruelty-free cosmetics and skin care samples and is sent to your door every month. All of products are free of animal ingredients and are never tested on animals, most of them are all natural and organic as well.

At first was wary of the Beauty Box, because I have sensitive skin so even natural products can cause rashes or hives, and sometimes scents can cause headaches. I’ve been really pleased with each Beauty Box I’ve received though, and I haven’t had a bad reaction to anything. I’ve been able to discover new cruelty-free brands without having to shell out a lot of money for a full-sized product, and I’m not stuck with a bathroom cabinet full of skin care products that I don’t like. I have a several new favorites, thanks to the Vegan Cuts Beauty Box, and I’ve been able to purchase full-sized counterpart from the Vegan Cuts Marketplace.

The July Beauty Box was curated by Sunny Subramanian for VeganBeautyRevew.com, and she put together quite a box of nice products.

The July Vegan Cuts Beauty BoxThe July Beauty Box Contained:

Nouveau/Organica Organic Cream Color – This little pot of creamy color can be used as lip stick, eye shadow, or blush. The color is called Compassion, and it’s a pretty dusty peachy-pink that really compliments my skin color. It’s made with all organic oils and butters, which is a good thing, because if you’re wearing it as lip color, you don’t want to be ingesting chemicals.

Emani Hydrating Lip Color – This lipstick is made with natural plant oils and vitamins and is formulated to keep lips soft and nourished throughout the day. Temptress is the name of the color, and it’s a pinkish–purple, which has become quite popular this summer.

Ellovi Body Butter – This raw body butter is made with just six ingredients – macadamia oil, coconut oil, hemp oil, shea butter, marula oil, and non-gmo cornstarch. It melts into the skin to hydrate and soften rough patches.

Just the Goods Lotion – This month’s beauty box came with two tester pots of Just the Goods Lotion, in peppermint and lavender – two of my favorite scents. This hand and body lotion is infused with grapeseed oil and is perfect for banishing dry summer skin.

Original Sprout Hair and Body Wash – This wash can be used as both shampoo and a body wash. It is formulated for babies, but of course, adults can use it too. It’s gentle on eyes, so if any runs down the face during bath time, there won’t be any tears. It has a fresh scent that leaves you feeling squeaky clean!

Savvy Boheme Bath and Body Oil – I don’t drink coffee very often, but I love its scent, and I love the smell of coffee shops. This moisturizing bath and body oil is infused with coffee, sweet orange essential oil, and vanilla and it smells like a delicious latte.

The Beauty Box is available as a monthly subscription, which means that a new box of products gets delivered to your door every. If you like the samples in your box, you can order their full-sized counterpart from the Vegan Cuts Marketplace
