Product Review: The February Vegan Cuts Beauty Box

March 6, 2015 By Dianne

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAIt’s hard to believe that we’re into the third month of 2015 already! I know another month has passed because another Vegan Cuts Beauty Box has arrived on my doorstep.

The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a subscription service that delivers a box of 4 to 7 sample size (or sometimes even full-sized!) beauty products to your door every month. It’s like a year-round birthday, because you never know what lotions, potions, polishes, and cosmetics will be inside the box. I love the Beauty Box, because it allows me to try different products without spending a lot of money and committing to a full-sized product. (My sensitive skin likes it too!) If you like what you’ve tried, you can purchase the full-sized counterpart from the Vegan Cuts Marketplace. As the name implies, everything in the Beauty Box is free of animal products and cruelty-free, most are organic and chemical-free as well.

The February Beauty Box contained products that are perfect for exfoliating, moisturizing, and repairing skin that has been battered by the harsh winter, as well as preparing it for the spring weather that’s ahead.

The February Vegan Cuts Beauty Box Contained:

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERABlissoma Fresh Mild Rice Cleanser – This facial cleanser is made with chickweed and rose, and was formulated to enliven skin, tone pores, and purge toxins. It’s made with organic ingredients and has a fresh, lemony scent. My skin felt soft and smooth after washing with it, which is important to me in this harsh and drying cold weather.

Alexandria Professional Phenomen-all Skin Repair – If your skin is suffering from the harsh winter cold, this skin repair lotion will help revive it. It’s an all-in-one treatment that replenishes moisture, calms irritations, and softens the skin. It has also has a fresh, citrus-like scent. A little goes a long way with this lotion, so a small tube lasts for quite a while.

Lauren Brooke Cosmétiques Organic Sweet Chai Lip Scrub – Lips can also suffer from the bitter winter weather, and this scrub will come to the rescue. This sweet chai lip scrub plays double duty as an exfoliant and a moisturizer, and it has a warming, spicy flavor.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERARed Apple Lipstick – Once your lips are scrubbed and exfoliated, color them with this toxin-free moisturizing lipstick. I received “Love My Kiss”, which is a shimmery pink that goes perfectly with my complexion.

Balanced Guru Scalp Detox – This hair treatment combines sea kelp, algae, tea tree oil, and other essential oils to detoxify and balance tired scalps.

The Beauty Box is available as a monthly subscription, which means that once you sign up, a new box of products gets delivered to your door every month. If you like the samples in your box, you can order their full-sized counterpart from the Vegan Cuts Marketplace.
