Laiki Rice Crackers

June 15, 2016 By Amy Katz

Laiki Rice Crackers are vegan and gluten free, yet full of flavor and crunch from red and black rice, oil, salt, and nothing else!

If you follow a gluten-free diet, you know how hard it can be to find good crackers. Some of them taste like cardboard, especially ones made from white rice. So when I heard that Laiki makes their crackers from red and black rice, I was excited to try them.

Both varieties have deep colors from the rice that is harvested from Thailand. I found the difference in flavor between red and black to be subtle. If I had to choose, I would probably say I like the black a little better, but I enjoyed both. In fact, once I started eating them, I had a hard time stopping!Laiki Rice Crackers are vegan and gluten free yet full of flavor and crunch from red and black rice, oil, salt, and nothing else.

The oil in the crackers is palm oil from Thailand, which Laiki says is sustainably-sourced and does not harm orangutans or their habitat.

I decided to try the crackers with some guacamole, and the combination was delicious! I think they would go well with hummus and other dips, and they would be perfect served with soup and salad.

Laiki Rice Crackers are available in family size and snack size from their website and also from Amazon and select specialty retailers.

Have you tried Laiki Rice Crackers? Which flavor is your favorite? Please let me know in the comments.
