Life changed a little last year when So Delicious Dairy Free introduced their Cashewmilk Frozen Desserts. Rich and decadent, these new vegan ice creams quickly became my favorite frozen treat. (Even my very non-vegan dad likes them!) Other non-dairy ice creams can get icy after being opened, but cashew milk based frozen desserts keep their smooth, creamy texture. I also love that they come in creative flavors like Snickerdoode and Dark Chocolate Truffle.
Over the past few months I have often found myself peering longingly into the freezer case at Whole Foods to see what flavors they had in stock. It seemed like they were always out of my favorite Salted Caramel Cluster. Well, it seems that everyone was out of stock on Salted Caramel Cluster, and the flavor was far more popular than So Delicious could have imagined. In fact, it’s been their most popular frozen dessert ever, and they’ve had a difficult time keeping up with demand for it. Luckily, it’s back. I’m super excited to be tucking into this lusciously decadent ice cream once again.
So Delicious has created three new Cashewmilk Frozen Desserts to please vegan ice cream fans.
Creamy Chocolate – I’m a total chocoholic, so I dipped into this pint first. It’s rich, creamy, and oh-so-chocolately.
Chocolate Cookies ‘N’ Cream – This is my favorite of the three new flavors. It’s like having two desserts in one with both rich and creamy chocolate ice cream and delicious sandwich cookies.
Very Vanilla – There’s no fighting over ice cream in my house, because while I love chocolate, my husband is huge fan of vanilla. He loves this new flavor, and he said it has a rich, complex flavor that’s better that “plain vanilla.”
All of the So Delicious Dairy Free Cashewmilk Frozen Desserts are gluten-free, soy-free, and, of course, vegan. They are also Non-GMO Project Verified. Because they’re plant-based, they contain no cholesterol or trans fat. They’re also free of artificial flavors, colors, and sweeteners.
