The Vegan Cuts July Beauty Box

August 7, 2015 By Dianne

The Vegan Cuts July Beauty BoxIt seems that I no longer need my calendar to tell me when another month has passed, because I can gauge time by the arrival of my Vegan Cuts Beauty Box! Not familiar with the Beauty Box? Let me fill you in. The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a subscription service that delivers a box of cruelty-free beauty products to your door every month. The products are usually sample sized, but there are times when you’ll receive full-sized products too (such as this month’s Pacifica eye shadow). It’s a great way to try products without spending a lot of money, and it’s also a wonderful way to discover new brands.

Summer is in full swing, and this month’s Beauty Box was put together with summer skin in mind. My epidermis doesn’t like the hot weather – it gets greasy and breaks out easily – so I was super excited to try the products in this month’s the July Beauty Box.

The Vegan Cuts July Beauty Box

The Vegan Cuts July Beauty Box Contained:

Everclean Facial CleanserEverclen Facial Cleanser – This gentle cleanser eliminates dirt and oil without clogging pores, stripping skin of its natural oils, or causing irritation. It also helps to restore then natural pH balance of skin. My sensitive skin loves it!

Osea Atmosphere Protection Cream – I use a thick moisturizer on my face in the winter, but in summer months my skin needs something light. This lightweight moisturizer protects skin from dehydration and environmental damage without feeling heavy or greasy.

Wonder Seed Hand CreamThe Wonder Seed Spring Lavender Hand Cream – Lavender is one of my favorite scents, so I love the smell of this moisturizing hand cream! I may have gotten a little bit of a sunburn recently (oops!) and this cream helped to sooth my skin. It’s made with hemp seed oil, which is known for its nutritional properties. Rather than sit on top of the skin like many other skin care products, this lotion is easily absorbed. It helps to nourish and hydrate.

Pacifica Super Powder Supernatural Eye Shadow Trio – This natural eye shadow applies like a cream and sets to a powder for a long-lasting finish. It’s made with anti-aging ingredients such as jojoba and organ oil so that it heals the skin as you wear it.

Smart Ash Teeth WhitenerBedrock and Bloom Smart Ash Teeth Whitener and Detoxifier – Yes, this is a black power (made from coconut charcoal) that you’re supposed to brush your teeth with. I’ve heard of this before, so I was anxious to try it. The natural ingredients are known to lift stains and whiten teeth. Use it carefully, because it can make a mess! I have been using it for a few days, but it’s too soon to tell if my pearly whites are getting whiter.

The Beauty Box is available as a monthly subscription, which means that once you sign up, a new box of products gets delivered to your door every month. If you like the samples in your box, you can order their full-sized counterpart from the Vegan Cuts Marketplace.
