The June Vegan Cuts Beauty Box

July 7, 2015 By Dianne

June Vegan Cuts Beauty BoxBy now I’m sure that many of you chic vegans are familiar with the Vegan Cuts Beauty Box, but for those of you who are newbies, let me give you the low down. The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a subscription service that delivers a box of cruelty-free beauty products to your door every month. The products are usually sample sized, but there are times when you’ll receive full-sized products too. It’s a great way to try products without spending a lot of money, and it’s also a wonderful way to discover new brands. I have a sensitive skin, and I used to buy new products only to discover that they didn’t work well for me, but not any more! The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box has helped me to find products that I like without spending a lot of cash on something I might have to throw away.

It’s like my birthday every time a new box arrives because I never know what’s going to be inside. This month the box arrived just a few days after my actual birthday, which made it seem even more like a gift. The box was loaded with great products that I couldn’t wait to take for a test spin.

The June Vegan Cuts Beauty Box Contained:

Eco Lips Bee Free Lip Balm – It can be difficult to find vegan lip balm, and then once you find it, it can be even more difficult to find non-chalky balms. This superfruit flavored balm is made with natural waxes and oils to glide on smoothly. I love that it contains both organic and certified fair trade ingredients.

Coconut SoapBee All Natural Coconut Oil Soap – You know how soap can sometimes contain fillers and not-so-nice ingredients? Well this soap contains nothing but saponified coconut oil. I had to look “saponified” up to find out what it means, and it just means that the oil was mixed with a strong alkali to turn it into soap. We all know that coconut oil is great for the skin, and this soap makes it even easier to soothe and pamper the body’s largest organ.

Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant – Drug-store brand deodorants contain all sorts of nasty ingredients that you really shouldn’t be putting on your skin, but Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant contains, well, natural ingredients that can control odor and help you stay fresh in the summer heat. Baking soda and arrowroot will keep you dry, while essential oils add a captivating scent.

HelloHello Toothpaste – This fluoride toothpaste is pink grapefruit mint flavored, which sounds rather strange. While brushing my teeth, I noticed a hint of grapefruit along with the minty flavor, which strangely gave it a bit of a medicine-like taste, but it wasn’t a taste I minded. What I like about this toothpaste is that it’s made without any of the artificial dyes, sweeteners, and preservatives that conventional toothpaste is loaded with.

Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash – This cleanser is infused with coconut oil to not only deeply clean the skin, but also to tone and refresh it too. It’s full of antioxidants to help balance and refresh tired skin. I love the summery, coconuty scent.

Emani Eye TrioEmani Eye Trio – This eye shadow palette contains 3 hues to making it easty to create highlights, shadows and contours. It contains protective minerals and rejuvenating antioxidants to nourish your skin while you wear it.

The Beauty Box is available as a monthly subscription, which means that once you sign up, a new box of products gets delivered to your door every month. If you like the samples in your box, you can order their full-sized counterpart from the Vegan Cuts Marketplace.
