SPECIAL TREAT AT THE END OF THE ARTICLE…
If you know me, then you know how much I love ordering take-out…such a treat to have yummy food delivered to your door. But, of course, I don’t like the added oils, salt and preservatives found in most take-out foods. That is why I was thrilled when the kind folks over at Veestro offered to send me some of their amazing meals for my family and I to try out and enjoy. Boy did we!
If you haven’t heard of Veestro, please let me introduce you to this fabulous family oriented company. I will be honest, I was hesitant about eating ‘frozen’ meals, but I was proved wrong, big time! The box arrived all packed up in dry ice, everything still completely frozen and vacuum sealed with the latest technology to guarantee freshness. We were supplied with enough food to feed our family of four, and more! The entrees included; Thai Chick’n Stew, Savory Croquettes with Veggie Hash, Veggie Empanadas, Tortilla Soup and a Gluten Free Quinoa Burger. And for dessert, raisin nut cookies.
As you can see from the pictures, these meals look fabulous. What you can’t see from the pictures is how tasty they were! What a treat for our family to have such a wonderful assortment of wholesome foods to enjoy. My boys especially loved the Veggie Empanadas, while my husband’s favorite was the Croquettes with Veggie Hash. I loved it all, but my favorite was the Tortilla Soup. And I practically licked the plate to get all the sauce from the Thai Stew…amazing!!!
