Product Review: Kelly Teegarden Beauty Products

Kelly Teegarden Organics is a company that was created by a cancer survivor.  After going through a traumatic experience with thyroid cancer, Kelly realized there were so many products that she used that could have contributed to her getting cancer.  She decided to come up with a line of beauty products that were made free of any harmful chemicals or ingredients that could cause cancer.  They are also cruelty-free, gluten-free, soy free, dairy free, and vegan.  There is a whole line of skin care, lip gloss, deodorant, and kids products that are made with whole ingredients that are good for your skin, your body, and your health.

I was given the opportunity to try a few of their products and chose to get their anti-aging facial cleanser, rose water toner, and all natural deodorant.  They also included one of their lipgloss colors in as a little surprise, which was really nice!  Overall, I loved all of their products and was excited about their mission to create products that are safe for everyone to use.

All Natural Deodorant

This was perhaps one of my favorite products.  I have been trying to find a better deodorant than the popular name brand one I have used for years.  I usually never think about the ingredients in my deodorant, but more and more I have been trying to be aware of the things that I put in and on my body.  I love that this deodorant is made with ingredients that I recognize and can find easily.  Plus this stuff works!  I tested it on some of the hottest and sweatiest days and I never once felt like I had to reapply.  I stayed fresh and odor free the whole time.  This deodorant is a little more expensive than regular brands at $11 a stick, but it lasts a really long time and I think the price tag is worth it.

Anti-aging Facial Cleanser

This is an awesome cleanser and left my face feeling clean and fresh.  Again, all of its ingredients are free from chemicals that could be possible endocrine disruptors.  It does a great job at cleaning pores and its price is comparable to similar products out there on the market.

Rose Water Toner

I have never used a toner before so I wanted to give this one a try.  It is light and very refreshing, plus the scent is amazing.  I love using it the morning because it feels like it wakes up my whole face and leaves it clean and blemish free.  You can also put this spray in the fridge and use it to cool down on hot and humid days.  Definitely a plus during the summer.

Chemical Free Lip Gloss

This was a nice little bonus to get along with the other products.  KTO has a whole line of different colored lip gloss and I got the Cack color.  This lip gloss adds a nice shimmer and shine to your lips with just a touch of color.  It isn’t sticky and it won’t bleed.  I also LOVED that it came with a mirror right on the tube of lip gloss.  It also has a light in the lid that you can turn on and off to help see as you apply the lip gloss.  I thought that was genius!  They have a shade for everyone and even though it’s $20 a tube, it lasts awhile and is a quality product that is worth the price.

 

I can’t say enough good things about Kelly Teegarden Organics.  I love what they stand for and the way they make their products.  I love that their prices aren’t more expensive than other organic lines available and I love that they are doing all they can to educate people about making better choices when it comes to their beauty regimen.  Check out their website and see the rest of their amazing products and start thinking about all the things that go into your body as well as on them!
