Product Review: Beanfields Snacks Bean and Rice Chips

March 12, 2015 By Dina

Bean_Bag_nachoBeanfields is a family owned company that farms its grains and makes them into chips right in the United States. The staff is friendly, customer service great, and they are prompt. They ship right away.

The chips are healthy: vegan, gluten free, no GMO’s, and corn free. They are made with beans and rice. If that sounds strange, let me tell you, the chips do not taste like beans unless you try the unsalted variety.

But other than that, I had my non-vegan family arguing over who gets to eat what. And, they had no idea that these chips were vegan. To them, and I quote, “It tastes exactly the same.” My favorites were the ranch flavored chips, pico de gallo, and NACHO. I have to yell it out. They were such a hit. My cheese craving was satisfied, indeed. My sister thought they were Doritos.

Bean_Bag_picoThe barbeque chips were also very popular. The sea salt and salt n’ pepper flavors were good too. I really, really enjoyed these chips and I think they are a really good alternative to tortilla chips (which, incidentally, have less protein and fiber and more fat than these chips).

There are full sized bags of chips that you can share with others as well snack size ones that you can keep to yourself.

So, pick them up. They are really delicious and healthy. Happy eating!
