Hand Therapy Kit Review

November 12, 2012 By Dina

Another item that I received free from Gaiam (click HERE for my previous review) was their hand therapy kit. As it is the case with all my reviews, I was not paid to review this product. I was merely given a chance to try it out. Now, on to the review, let’s get started, shall we?

The product is essentially three squishy balls that vary in firmness. The firmer the ball, the more of a workout you get for your fingers, hands, and arms. There are also instructions for exercises you can do with the hand therapy balls. If you are constantly typing, writing, or texting, this product is for you. I love this kit. It’s a good little investment

Convenience:

I like that the balls are small and the instructions are folded in such a way that you can take the hand therapy kit with you anywhere. The balls are squishy but cat claws don’t hurt them. They are clean and don’t catch all the fuzzy lint in our bags. I also consider the kit to be inexpensive when you consider that it offers so much.

Variety:

I know you can just buy a stress-relief ball and be done with it, but the variety in firmness challenges your muscles to be more lean and thus helps you type without pain. I am noticing a decrease in the pain in my fingers as I type and I’m only using the softest ball so far.

Effective:

The kit is effective. I felt the effect almost immediately as I was using the kit. I felt my muscles stretching. It takes a while to feel the pain in your hands decreasing, but that’s because the kit is an exercise routine to stretch your muscles and make them flexible, so the process will take a few uses of the kit.

It’s an awesome product that just makes your work life or school a whole less painful!

I have strong allergy to latex, and there is no information as to what these balls are made of. Is it possible that there could be latex present without any apparent warnings from the manufacturer?

This post is two years old and I don’t have access to the product. The best thing for you to do is contact the manufacturer.
