]]> Kur_Logo_artworkKur foods are yummy bite-sized goodness. There is not a huge variety of flavors yet, but I think the flavors available are remarkable. They are small, portable, and yet filling. They are supposedly made out of dates, but they do not taste like dates at all. They are definitely worth checking out if you are on the hunt for snacks that are healthy and easy to store.

 

Onto the flavors, shall we?

Kur_CacaoMint_12-packCacao Mint:
It is not bitter at all. I have a hate affair with cacao because I expect it to taste awful. But this bar was delicious and minty. The mint is not overpowering, though, and that was a nice surprise. It is a refreshing snack; that’s for sure.

Coconut Cashew:
This one is my favorite. It tastes so delicious. The coconut is a pleasant addition, and you can see shreds of it. I did not get a sense of the cashew in it. It is sweet, but not too sweet. Very yummy.

Kur_Coconut_12-packBrownie:
I am not in love with brownies in general, but this one was really delicious. The chocolate flavor was thick and satisfying. Like I said before, you cannot taste dates at all. And, they have no added sweeteners, which is remarkable because all the flavors were delicious. I thought this was surprising particularly with the brownie flavor because the chocolate did not taste bitter or sour. It was actually pretty sweet.

So, if you are looking for something small, portable, filling, tasty, and vegan, check out Kur foods. They are definitely worth trying and tasting. Enjoy!

]]> 4-Pack-Box-GroupI am always on the lookout for a small and healthy treat to stick into my bag when I’m heading out the door. These Delights from Kur Organic Superfoods turned out to be that perfect treat! Each box holds 4 Bite Size Delights.  With three flavors, Dark Chocolate Mint, Brownie and Coconut Cream its hard to choose a favorite. 

The Dark Chocolate Mint Delight has a wonderful peppermint flavor from the use of a peppermint essential oil. The added cacao nibs give a nice crunch. It is full of texture and flavor and gives you a fresh feeling in your mouth due to the peppermint. 

The Coconut Cream Delight reminds me of a coconut cream pie. The texture of this one is nice and smooth. With 4 ingredients it’s the simplest of the 3 flavors and it might be my secret favorite of them all.

The Brownie Delight was one of the best raw type brownies I’ve had. Fudge-like with a hint of cinnamon and a extra layer of flavor thanks to orange essential oil. I love this companies use of essential oils in their products! 

Kur Organic Superfoods began in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2007. They launched the Delights in the US in 2011. The Delights are naturally sweet, Non-GMO, USDA Organic, Kosher, Gluten Free and Vegan Certified.  I am a huge fan of them and can’t wait to get my hands on more of these delectable Delights!
