Chipkos is a wonderful little company doing big and exciting things to help save the rainforests and the species and resources contained within. Did you know that currently, less than 50% of the world’s original rainforests remain? Chipkos is taking a stand and setting big goals to conserve and ultimately save our most beautiful and important forests.

In order to do this, Chipkos is setting big goals. 10 million square feet to be exact. That is a big feat, and they can’t do it alone. They need you! For every pair of Chipkos sandals you purchase, they will adopt 100 square feet of rainforest in South America or Africa. These sandals are incredibly durable yet comfortable, and have a unique square style. Chipkos sandals are made primarily from recycled EVA (rubber), and jute fiber (odor-proof and water resistant).

Chipkos’ Like For Square Feet campaign started on Earth day and is continuing until the end of May. For every “like” they receive on their Facebook page, they will add one square foot to the rain forest.  Their goal is 10,000 square feet, and just one click from you can help them reach it.
